Questions we get typically on Social or email:
- “Hi. We love your offer. But DO guests upload ANY photos at ALL in LiveWall, or is this yet another useless software that blows money right down the drain?" Thanks, Bob
Answer:
Thanks for asking! We love to connect with you and I DO understand your concern, oh yeah. Big time. As you may know already, having a bad picture-collecting-experience is exactly what happened to our wedding when I asked our wedding guests to share their photos in the Google Photos album my bro created…Only two people showed up in the album; one was my brother who created the album. No need to say more..!
So. This is why I decided to write you a post today on how to succeed with picture-sharing on your Big Day. Inspired by best Practices from our LiveWall users and our own lives (Yes, we use LiveWall for birthdays, holiday celebrations, and anniversaries, too!)
After all. Our main goal at LiveWall is to make you HEART warm and your MIND burst with happiness from all the love that shines through your pictures and videos from friends and family. ❤️
Let’s break it down to 5 steps
- Share the QR code that LiveWall automatically generates for your Photo Wall on the Wedding Invitation/Save the Date and with your Wedding Planners well in advance.
- ENCOURAGE whoever is in charge of the Bridal shower (Bachelorette/Hen party), and Groom shower (Bro bath/Groom roast), and send them the LINK to the upload feed. Unless the party goes totally out of control so to speak! Haha
- The awesome bonus is that people missing out on the fun can see the photos shared in a SAFE space and outside Social Media, which is as we know a risky business. Probably you don’t want your Boss to see everything unless your boss is your best friend of course! If you wanna get advanced, you could create a separate Wall for the Shower parties too.
- One Week before the Wedding, you send everyone a link/QR to the upload page (same as before), either by email or your preferred text channel. Remind them about how much it means to you and that you will be forever grateful. And that is LITERALLY forever grateful.
- Mention to your guests that you would love photos from their travel to the venue, dress or shoe shopping, preparations or other fun stuff. This makes the experience even more immersive and whole and ever-lasting…2-7 days after the Big Day, send a reminder WITH the LINK to the upload page and mention that it is great fun to look at the feed and all the awesome contributions.
PRO Tips
You can be creative, so let’s say your wedding team is BLUE. 💙
__You go ahead and ask your guests to post 3 photos of them and/or things that are dear to them in the color blue (a vase/flower/the ocean/a cardigan/a dress/nails/car etc). Then you suddenly have a fantastic theme-album and memory that is very personal. And blue. __
Another upside will be that you train the guests to upload their photos to the software, so sharing photos after the wedding will be like a soft, sweet piece of (wedding)cake!
__We do hope this list can help you enjoy the fun experience of collecting your photos from your Amazing 🤩 Big Day. __
