Usage Data: Information about how you use LiveWall, including system logs for diagnostic purposes.

Content Data: Photos and other content you upload to LiveWall.

Billing Records: Transactional records for payments and refunds.

Provide Services: To operate and maintain LiveWall.

Improve Services: To understand how the service performs and make improvements.

Communication: To send you transactional emails related to your use of the service and occasional marketing emails (from which you can unsubscribe).

Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data:

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Premium users can enable end-to-end encryption to add a second layer of protection to their content. Please note that if you lose your password to the keyring, we cannot recover your content.

Access Controls: LiveWall employees do not access Content Data. The system is designed to prevent employee access, and operational procedures and technical controls prohibit such actions.

Data Centers: Personal Data and Usage Data is stored in data centers located in Sweden and/or Norway. Content Data is stored in data centers located in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Brazil, South Africa, or Australia. We automatically select the storage location based on your current location when creating a wall. Content Data may be cached globally (stored temporarily) on a Content Delivery Network (CDN) edge node depending on where you or any guests you invite access the service from.

System Logs: System logs are used solely for diagnostic purposes.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We continuously update and monitor our security practices to enhance the protection of your data.

Data Retention

Personal Data: Personal data and content are retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can delete your account at any time through the User Profile page.

Content Data: For Free Services we will keep your content data for a limited time. For Paid Services, we will keep your content until the service expires. You can delete your content at any time by deleting individual content items, individual walls, or your entire account. Deleted content is not recoverable.

Billing Records: We keep billing records for the duration required by Norwegian law.

System Logs: We retain system logs for a maximum of 30 days for diagnostic purposes.

Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

Access: Request access to your personal data.

Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erasure: Request deletion of your data.

Restriction: Request restriction of processing your data.

Data Portability: Receive a copy of your data in a structured format.

Objection: Object to the processing of your data.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session management and logging to help us provide a reliable service. Our log data do not contain any personally identifiable information.

We store a fingerprint of your ip-address and browser to help us identify and prevent abuse and enforce usage limits.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Norway. We ensure adequate protection is in place for such transfers. Data is stored at-rest in Norway and Sweden.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, just as we do not track or collect data from any of our users.
