Video Support in LiveWall

LiveWall Premium includes video support, letting guests upload and share videos alongside photos.

Video support is available on LiveWall Premium and Signature. Videos in full 4K resolution (4096x2160) are supported with a maximum file size of 1GB per video.

LiveWall accepts all common video formats that work with modern devices.

Videos are processed automatically in the background. The system generates thumbnails, creates preview versions for smooth playback, and handles all the technical details so you don't have to think about it.

It will take 5-10 seconds before video processing starts, and longer, higher quality videos can take minutes to process before they become available in your feed.

How videos work in your feed

Videos appear in your feed with automatically generated thumbnails and duration indicators. On mobile devices, videos auto-play (muted) when scrolled into view for a smooth browsing experience.

Clicking or tapping a video opens it in full-screen mode with playback controls. Videos can be downloaded individually and are included in your bulk ZIP download alongside photos.

LiveWall always store the full quality video exactly as received when uploaded. The streaming versions used in the feed are resampled, have reduced frame and audio rates, and increased compression to ensure fast playback on mobile networks. When you or guests download the files, you will get the full quality as uploaded.

Premium walls can store up to 2 hours total of video content. Individual videos are limited to 10 minutes each. Signature walls can store up to 10 hours of total video content, with individual videos limited to 30 minutes each.

We do not recommend enabling End-to-End-Encryption for walls with large video files, as some devices will have challenges decrypting and playing very large video files.

Videos integrate seamlessly with all other LiveWall features including moderation controls, sharing, and notifications.
