Why are the thumbnails and video previews in low quality?

LiveWall is heavily optimized for low-bandwidth use on mobile networks, which is common to many events. The thumbnails and previews are therefore resized and recompressed to ensure fast transfers, and ensure videos play back immediately without waiting for the entire file to download. This also has a sustainability benefit, as network traffic is one of the big sinners in green computing. LiveWall saves the original file, completely untouched, so when you download your files they will retain every bit of quality as captured by the camera. For photos, use the Zoom feature to see a higher resolution version. For videos, you can toggle between LO and SD resolution, or hit the download button to see video in original quality.
